There is only one remaining university zoological museum in London and it is the Grant Museum. You will find about 62,000 specimens which cover the entire animal kingdom. The exhibit was founded in 1827 when it was created as a teaching collection. The museum offers fascinating items such as full skeletons, mounted animals and specimens that have been preserved in fluid. The museum is located 1.6 miles from the city centre.
It is difficult to leave this amazing city without first visiting the Tower of London. This is one of the city’s most famous landmarks. The tower is home to the Crown Jewels as well as the prison cell of Sir Walter Raleigh which is known as the Bloody Tower. You will also enjoy a visit to the Chapel of St. John and the Royal Armories. The site is located 2.2 miles from city centre.
London is an amazing city full of so many attractions that you will need to plan an itinerary before leaving home. Since there are so many cheap hotels in London you will definitely save money for your city exploration.
