May through September is a great time to visit because of the great weather and the many celebrations and festivals. The southern part of the country has the great weather from April to October. August is the hottest time of year and is most felt along the coast and Peninsula.

The top places to visit in Spain are Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Ibiza. During the summer Madrid has free plays, films and concerts. In May there is the Fiera de San Isidro celebration that includes concerts, operas, dancing, bullfighting and music. The most visited city in Spain is Barcelona. During September there is an annual festival, Festes de la Merce. The city is known for its food, culture, museums and nightlife.

Valencia has a City of Arts And Sciences which has fantastic architecture. Each building is unusual and a visual feast. It has the largest aquarium in Europe and consists of six buildings. There is an opera house, a science museum and a shaded walkway with Mediterranean Sea views. Arrange for a city bike tour.

Ibiza is a small island off the coast. It is known as the place for clubbing in Europe and starts in the afternoon and does not stop until dawn. It also has lots to do for families. Many resorts have play areas just for kids and the beaches have lots of sports to enjoy. See the white buildings of the villages, the 2,000 year old salt flats, and the Hippy markets.

The main tourist attractions in Spain highlight its music and dance, as in Flamenco music and dance found in Andalucia. Its bullfights, as in the town of Ronda that has a bullfighting museum and the oldest bullring in the country. The bull run of Pamplona is known worldwide. About one million people arrive each year to watch the running with the bulls that ends with bullfights. It is part Pamplonas San Fermin Festival that occurs in July. To see an active volcano go to Tenerife. There is also Las Ramblas that has outdoor markets and live performances in Barcelona.

The beaches are located to the north and south. To the south is the Mediterranean Sea and to the north is the Atlantic Ocean. The beaches of the north tend to be more rocky. The Austurias area in the north is ideal for surfing. The top beaches are Costa del Sol to the south, Costa Brava near Valencia, San Sebastian a city beach, The Balearic Islands and Costa Verde.

Another part of the Spain travel advice is to visit one of its beautiful castles. These show the changes in history and who was in power when. Besides the castles there are towers and fortifications. When visiting, be aware that there is a mid day break that is from 2:30 to 5:00 each day where everything is closed, so do not expect to do any shopping during that time.

To lessen your stress while you are traveling you need to prepare yourself for the trip, for where you are traveling too and you need to keep your stress levels down so you enjoy your trip for the entire time you are out traveling.

Reduce your stress:

To reduce stress while traveling too and from work, leave yourself plenty of time. In allowing yourself an added fifteen minutes, you can easily reduce the stress you feel in traveling to work everyday. Reduce stress you feel so you are not in a hurry all the time. Waking up early or at least on time all the time is going to help you reduce the stress your feel daily. Reduce your stress while traveling to work by turning the radio on, and listening to some soft music, or at least music of your choice. Soothing noised music you love, is going to help you turn that stress away.

Traveling with children:

Reduce stress while traveling with children. To reduce your stress, you need to travel at night, when the children are sleeping, or bring along activities that are going to keep the children occupied while you are traveling. Videos, DVD,board games, music and such as all great way of keeping your children occupied while you are traveling so they don’t stress you out. Children can easily become bored and cranky. Make sure you are traveling in the shortest routes possible, and during the times when children are not hungry or will want to get out and move around in the sun. Traveling is easiest first thing in the morning and late in the evening.

Standing travel stress avoid tips:

Stress while traveling is going to be less involved, less noticed if you are to remain calm and cool while you are standing in line, standing waiting to eat, waiting to cross a bridge, waiting to get through the tunnels, even while you are waiting to check into your hotel. Be patient. Remember, you have all the time in the world you dont have to be any where at any particular time. You are on vacation and waiting, in slow lines is all about part of being on vacation and while traveling. Take a deep breath and read your book, listen to your music, talk to your family and think about all the good things that are bound to come yet. Leave stress behind by preparing yourself mentally to wait and to be more patient.

Spain is full of magical points of interest. There’s Madrid in the center, Barcelona to the northeast and Seville to the south–just to name a few. Before you pack your bags and head off to Spain, here’s some great travel information. Knowing the climate and when to go can make all the difference in the world.

The Climate

There’s nothing worse than taking a dream vacation and getting blindsided by poor weather. It would be foolish to just rush off to Spain without knowing what the conditions will be like once you arrive.

Did you know that Spain’s summers typically reach 90-100?F? If you don’t like the warm to hot weather, stay away from Spain during the months of June, July and August. The main points of interest may get a bit unbearable for you. However, air conditioning is commonplace in the hotels.

May and October, which are just before and after the summer, make great times to visit Spain. The Falls are beautiful.

Key Travel Tip

Here’s a great Spain travel tip for you. If you hate overcrowding and love the beaches, don’t visit Spain in July or August. During these two months, the Mediterranean Sea is perfect for enjoyment. Herds of tourists and locals flock to the beaches to enjoy it. It’s a seasonal event.

Since many locals hit the beaches, you might find shops closed or operating minimally. The Mediterranean Sea isn’t great for swimming in many months out of the year, so many look forward to these couple of months each year.

Planning

Spain offers many festivals throughout the year. A popular one is the Fiesta De San Fermin. You probably know one of its events–the running of the bulls. Pamplona is a special place each July.

Do some research and plan your trip around a festival that you would really love to see.

Taking a Train Ride in Australia? Travel Insurance Is a Must

This journey by train will take you from one edge of the continent, to the outback, and then to the other end.
